The 2026–27 Season Arrives at Dartmouth’s Newly Renovated Hopkins Center
A new season of music, theater, dance, film, and performance is coming to Dartmouth—and it’s a great reason to make a night of it in Hanover.
The Hopkins Center for the Arts has announced its 2026–27 season, bringing an eclectic lineup of acclaimed artists and performers to campus throughout the academic year. From Broadway favorite Brian Stokes Mitchell and celebrated violinist Joshua Bell to contemporary dance, theater, jazz, classical music, and the beloved Telluride at Dartmouth film series, there’s something to look forward to throughout the fall, winter, and spring.

What’s Coming to the Hop
The season gets underway in September with Brian Stokes Mitchell, followed by Telluride at Dartmouth, the annual celebration of independent cinema that brings filmmakers, industry professionals, and movie lovers together in Hanover. The month also features Versa-Style Street Dance Company, bringing hip-hop and street dance traditions to the stage, and Teatro La Plaza’s Hamlet, a fresh take on Shakespeare’s classic tragedy.
The lineup continues throughout the fall with performances spanning genres and disciplines. Highlights include the Julia Keefe Indigenous Big Band, Bluebird Improv, the Dartmouth College Wind Ensemble, and Les Arts Florissants, performing the music of Claudio Monteverdi.
November brings a particularly full schedule, including The Cherry Orchard from Dartmouth’s Department of Theater, the Dartmouth Dance Showcase, and performances by the Handel Society of Dartmouth College.
The season picks back up in January with the Claudia Acuña Quartet, followed by performances from Ragamala Dance Company, the Isidore String Quartet, Edmar Castañeda Quartet, and more.
Spring brings another diverse lineup, including An Irish Celebration with the Martin Hayes Quartet, La Mecànica’s A Teen Odyssey, Imani Winds, Gravity & Other Myths, and Joshua Bell and Larisa Martinez.
