Casual place with good food
Stopped at Hanover Inn for lunch and had a really good burger. A quiet, upscale place. with great service and relaxing. I had heard a lot about this place from my mother and father, and was not disappointed

Beautiful hotel in a great location right on the dartmouth green. Friendly staff. Very nice rooms. Attended a wedding at the hotel during my stay and the catering was outstanding. Best wedding food I've ever had

Great place to stay - and you will be charged accordingly for it.
Very courteous staff from the valet parking guys through reception (we drove up from NYC). This is an expensive hotel, but the attention to detail, cleanliness, comfort, and amenities just about justify the prices. Room service (lunch) was very good. Only went to Pine for drinks, but it was pretty much the same story there - good quality, and expensive. Maybe I was lucky, but we were very grateful for being allowed into the room early, around 11.15am. Location is excellent. In summary, I'd stay again for 1 x night...maybe 2 at a stretch, but it's too expensive for a longer stint. Only thing I didn't appreciate was being charged an additional fee for parking...felt a little like I was being nickel and dimed

The hotel looks nice, rooms are spacious and clean. Service is friendly. The hotel however is noisy as is almost any hotel in the world and that is a pity. You will hear noise from neighbouring rooms and from the hallway where staff is loudly announcing roomservice for your neighbours at 6.30 am. Nevertheless it is a cosy place with a central location, good beds, coffee in the central hall, newspapers et cetera. After finally being able to open a window for some fresh air instead of aircon everything was OK. Recommende
