Join Daniel P. Stone Professor of Intellectual and Moral Philosophy Amie L. Thomasson for a discussion of her new book, Rethinking Metaphysics (2025). A leading voice in contemporary philosophy and one of the “50 most influential living philosophers,” Thomasson critiques recent approaches to metaphysics and presents her own vision of the field as conceptual engineering. The talk will be followed by a Q&A and light refreshments.
