FROM THE ARCHIVES
Since the start, the Dartmouth Outing Club has taken responsibility for the meticulous behind the scenes work that goes into making Winter Carnival a success. Historically, this involved cutting trails, packing snow, building ski jumps, organizing events, and getting the campus ready for festivities.
This 1947 film, Dartmouth Films captures that effort in real time. Run through that checklist of responsibilities with them in this vintage kodachrome footage.
