Venue Pricing & Particulars

The Hanover Inn at Dartmouth College offers a number of graceful spaces to utilize throughout your wedding. Each of the following spaces may be customized to coincide with your event theme and are included in your $3500 rental fee. Please ask about special off-season pricing.

Garden Terrace (Seasonal)

Our outdoor Garden Terrace is the ideal location for your cocktail hour or an al fresco reception. With a direct view of Baker Tower and the Dartmouth College Green, your guests will enjoy the outdoors, while a protective awning covers the area. Outdoor umbrella tables cover the remainder of the terrace, and will be open to the public.

For Your Privacy

This comfortable and cozy event room is available for the wedding couple and their attendants for the entire day of the wedding.

Our Gift to You

A complimentary guestroom suite will be provided for the happy couple on the night of the reception. The suite includes a king or queen sized bed, sitting area, and private bath.

Additional Rooms

Consult your wedding coordinator for details and pricing regarding the use of additional rooms during your event.

Particulars

Receptions are limited to five hours, not including the cocktail hour. Friday and Saturday receptions must end by 11pm and Sunday receptions by 10pm. Prices listed do not include 9% New Hampshire tax and 17% service charges.

  • Deposits & Payment
    To secure your reservation, an advance deposit is required. A credit card authorization will also need to be completed before your event is confirmed. 50% of the balance will be due 60 days prior to the wedding. All remaining charges are due 30 days prior to the event. Any charges remaining after the wedding, will be applied to the credit card on file. Cancellation of the scheduled wedding date will result in the forfeiture of all monies paid as deposit. Cancellations must be submitted in writing.
  • Guestrooms
    We are pleased to offer your guests the opportunity to stay with us at a preferred rate to enjoy the comfort and convenience of being here at the Inn. This preferred rate is based on a minimum of five reservations and varies seasonally and can be arranged through your wedding coordinator. We will take care of all the details and your guests simply need to reference your last names when making their reservation. Your wedding coordinator can work with you to set aside a specified number of guestrooms based on availability, and these rooms will be held up to 60 days prior to your event date. We look forward to serving your guests so family and friends can spend time together in anticipation of the big day.
  • Menus
    In order for us to provide the highest levels of service, we ask that events offering multiple entrées provide seating cards with individual entrée selections noted. Guarantees and entrée counts for events offering multiple entrée selections are due 10 days prior to the event.
  • Valet Parking Services
    We strive to provide an excellent first impression of the Inn for you and your guests. The Inn offers a valet parking service as follows:
    • Overnight Guest Parking, $18/night, per vehicle
    • Guest Parking, $15/vehicle for duration of event
    • Valet Service must be scheduled with your wedding coordinator one month prior to your event
